Read in this order: first match, codes, coins and crates, maps, then Insane. Each guide is one job.

What to open first

Start with the first-match guide if you have not cleared Easy. Open codes next if you already have three wins. Use the economy guide before you spend Coins or Robux, and the Insane guide only after Normal stops leaking.

Which [๐Ÿ†UPD+X2๐Ÿ’ฐ] Cameraman Tower Defense guides are published?

Start here: your first match

Win the first Easy match by placing two or three cheap units before wave 1 and upgrading the one that is actually hitting toilets.

How to redeem codes

Redeem the reported Shop codes after three wins, and keep UPDATE1 and RELEASE out of the active list until the October reports agree.

Open guide

Coins, gems, and crates

Separate Coins, match cash, and gems, then spend the one-time 200 Coin group bonus before you buy a crate.

Open guide

Maps and placement

Pick the map for its lanes, then vote a difficulty your current units can actually finish.

Open guide

Insane mode and boss waves

Open Insane with Scientist, max one carry, and treat an unfinished Engineer as a blocker rather than your damage plan.

Open guide

Summon banner and trading

Read the banner card you are about to buy, because two October summon lists name different units at 30 percent, 1 percent, and 0.1 percent.

Open guide

Spider Update and the October 12 stamp

The October 10 Spider Update added nine units, gems, and quests. A later October 12 Roblox stamp does not list what changed.

FAQ

[๐Ÿ†UPD+X2๐Ÿ’ฐ] Cameraman Tower Defense guide questions

Is Cameraman Tower Defense free?

Yes. Matches cost nothing. Robux is optional and buys coin bundles, a mythic pack, a 2x speed pass, and skip passes. Coins for summons also come from wins, a one-time group reward, and codes.

Who makes the game?

Aligators Games, the Roblox group credited on the experience, with aibat303e and iop_dev named in the description. This wiki is not run by them.

How do I start a match?

In the lobby, step onto a match platform. The official description says that starts a match. Then place a Cameraman or another unit you own where it can hit the toilets, and beat the waves.

Are Coins and match cash the same?

No. Coins are the lobby currency for summons, crates, and code rewards. Match cash is what you spend during a wave on placement and upgrades. A crate purchase does not pay the upgrade cost of the unit you pulled.

Does the X2 in the title double damage?

The public title still includes X2, and one October guide describes a double-coins counter on the match HUD. That is not a damage multiplier, and the game page does not publish a rate. Read the live counter before you plan a farm.
