How to redeem codes

Redeem the reported Shop codes after three wins, and keep UPDATE1 and RELEASE out of the active list until the October reports agree.

Codes pay lobby Coins or unnamed freebies. They do not unlock the unit whose name is printed on the string. Engineer the code and Engineer Cameraman the unit are different things.

What to type

The active table on the codes page keeps strings whose October reports agree, plus four coin strings from one October 10 Shop-box session and LStrider as unspecified freebies.

These three are listed as 50 Coins by several articles dated October 11 and October 12:

  • Engineer
  • UpgradedTitanSpeakerman
  • NewMaps

LStrider is listed as freebies on October 10 and October 12. The items inside that word are not named.

UPDATE2, UPDATE3, BUGFIXES, and SUBSCRIBE were read off a Shop box while they were being redeemed on October 10. They paid Coins. The amount was not published, and many later lists never mention them. Try each once. A rejection can mean the account already claimed it, or that the string is no longer accepted.

UPDATE1 and RELEASE are unresolved

Do not treat either status as settled:

  • An October 4 list marked both inactive and did not use them as 50 Coin codes.
  • An October 9 list marked both active and did not list NewMaps.
  • An October 10 Shop-box report says both were redeemed for Coins, and an October 10 roundup still listed them as freebies.
  • October 11 and October 12 roundups mark both expired, while one October 12 list still prints them as freebies.

The strings are UPDATE1 and RELEASE, with those capitals. This wiki does not file them as active or expired. Type each once if you have never claimed it. There is no second spelling to try.

Redeem steps

  1. Open the official experience and wait for the lobby.
  2. If the code field is missing, win three matches and return to the lobby. Several October articles say the box opens only after three wins.
  3. If a code still fails, join the Aligators Games group. An October 9 report gives that as the failure case and does not mention the win gate. Meeting both conditions covers the two reports.
  4. Stay in the lobby. The field is not inside a wave.
  5. Open Shop on the left.
  6. Scroll past the coin bundles to the Codes field. One October 10 description shows a magnifying-glass icon and a green Redeem button.
  7. Paste the code with the same capitals and no extra spaces.
  8. Press Redeem once. Coin rewards land on the Coin balance.

Each reported code is once per account. A message that you already claimed it is not a new reward.

The 200 Coin group bonus is not a code. Join Aligators Games, like the game, and favorite it. The lobby prompt then pays 200 Coins once when you load back in. Details are on the coins guide.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cameraman Tower Defense free?

Yes. Matches cost nothing. Robux is optional and buys coin bundles, a mythic pack, a 2x speed pass, and skip passes. Coins for summons also come from wins, a one-time group reward, and codes.

Who makes the game?

Aligators Games, the Roblox group credited on the experience, with aibat303e and iop_dev named in the description. This wiki is not run by them.

How do I start a match?

In the lobby, step onto a match platform. The official description says that starts a match. Then place a Cameraman or another unit you own where it can hit the toilets, and beat the waves.

Are Coins and match cash the same?

No. Coins are the lobby currency for summons, crates, and code rewards. Match cash is what you spend during a wave on placement and upgrades. A crate purchase does not pay the upgrade cost of the unit you pulled.

Does the X2 in the title double damage?

The public title still includes X2, and one October guide describes a double-coins counter on the match HUD. That is not a damage multiplier, and the game page does not publish a rate. Read the live counter before you plan a farm.
